The Story
Oneida Elizabete Afonso da Silva is a 61-year-old retired banker and artist. She had a near-death experience (NDE) after a seizure about 46 years ago. During the NDE, she found herself in a peaceful place where she saw a man in white surrounded by people. He told her telepathically to return, and she felt a deep sense of frustration upon returning to her body. She later had two other significant experiences, including feeling a connection with a loving being and crossing through a wall while in a different state of consciousness. After these experiences, Oneida gained a new understanding of life and death. She now believes in a lighter existence beyond the physical body and feels a sense of peace despite her terminal illness.
