The Story
Mário Bortolotto was shot during a bar robbery, which caused his near-death experience (NDE). He was shot three times, with one bullet hitting his heart. After losing consciousness, he experienced a peaceful state where he saw smoky images of three figures: his friend, a historical figure, and a comic character. He felt a sense of calm and saw a distant light. After waking up from a two-day coma, he realized he was alive. Mário did not feel that the experience changed his beliefs or life significantly. He still believes in something beyond physical existence but maintains his previous views on life.
