The Story
Lírio Mattos is a Brazilian businessman who had two near-death experiences (NDEs) as a child. The first NDE occurred when he was 6 years old after an accident while playing in a construction area. He left his body, saw his grandmother treating his injury, and experienced a dark tunnel with a light at the end. He returned to his body after seeing his family and feeling a sense of peace. After the NDE, Lírio gained a new perspective on life and death. He learned to let go of material things and now believes that love and good deeds are what truly matter. He no longer fears death and sees it as a transition to a better place.
