The Story
Sonia was a 56-year-old Brazilian woman who experienced an NDE during childbirth in Russia in 1995. After a normal delivery, she was given general anesthesia for a procedure. During the NDE, she felt a mental message urging her to accept her situation. She experienced being sucked through a tunnel, accompanied by beautiful music. Once she accepted, she found herself in a bright, white space where she felt peace and love. She sensed the presence of her deceased mother, who told her she had reached a limit and could choose to cross it or return. Sonia ultimately chose to return due to her sense of responsibility for her family. After the experience, she lost her fear of death and gained a new understanding of living in the present moment.
