The Story
Alan experienced a near-death event while very ill in a deep coma. He found himself in a dark place as a dense point of intelligent light energy with no body but his personality intact. A being of pure light communicated telepathically and showed him a tunnel with one end leading to God's glorious light and the other to a dark void. The being took him through the tunnel to a library-like place of learning in the light, where he felt elation, love, and peace. An unseen entity with a male voice, later identified as an angel, showed him a panoramic view of Earth and gave warnings to humanity about future cataclysms starting from the Indian subcontinent, unresolved Middle East conflicts, and divine intervention if people did not change their harmful actions toward each other and the planet. He learned that people judge themselves by their actions, with good ones leading to light and bad ones to degrees of darkness in the void. Alan agreed to savor the moment but forgot most details upon waking. Over the years, memories returned, leading him to update and share his account.
