The Story
Nilton was a hang glider pilot who experienced an NDE after a fall in 1976. During the accident, he felt a large hand cushion his fall and then found himself floating above his body. He saw the landscape clearly and heard a voice telling him to go up. He recognized familiar places and realized he might have died. He wanted to warn his brother about a backpack but could not communicate. Eventually, he saw his brothers approaching and was pulled back into his body. After the experience, Nilton felt a new understanding of life and death, realizing life continues after death and that he is part of divinity.
“a colorful beam of light ... very beautiful ... that was about 30 or 35 degrees ... more or less this inclination ...”
