The Story
The experiencer was a pastor in Brazil who had a near-death experience after becoming addicted to medication due to the grief of losing her 16-year-old son. During the NDE, she saw her son across a chasm and heard Jesus tell her that her son entered His kingdom with joy and that she still had work to do. After returning, she became obsessed with wanting to see her son again. One day, she believed her son returned to her, but an angel from her NDE revealed that it was not him. When she accepted this, the figure transformed into a demonic form and disappeared. After this experience, she learned to focus on her faith and the hope of heaven rather than her obsession with her son.
