The Story
Lírio Matos was 12 years old when he experienced a near-death experience (NDE) due to a severe infection in his foot. During the NDE, he felt himself floating around his room and saw a bright light. He heard a voice telling him to return to his body, warning him that if he went further, he would not come back. After the experience, he woke up with a high fever and realized he was close to death. Following the NDE, Lírio gained a new perspective on life and death. He developed a strong belief in a better existence after death and a sense of purpose to share his experiences with others.
