The Story
Carlos Dias had a near-death experience (NDE) after suffering a stroke caused by a ruptured aneurysm in 2005. During his experience, he left his body and saw himself lying on the bed. He then encountered his deceased grandmother, who reassured him that everything was fine. A bright light appeared next to her, radiating a sense of peace and love. Carlos realized he was dead and begged to stay in that state. However, he heard a countdown and woke up back in his body. After the NDE, Carlos felt a transformation in his understanding of life and death. He no longer feared death and believed that love and connection are what truly matter in life.
