The Story
Paulo Cesar was a public server who experienced a cardiac arrest in 2000 due to an infarct. During his near-death experience (NDE), he felt intense pain and then left his body. He saw the ambulance from above and recognized himself inside it. He also felt a presence of three figures, including a possible deceased relative. He experienced a sensation of falling into darkness, feeling the pain of extinction. A hand then lifted him out of the darkness, and he woke up in the hospital. After the NDE, Paulo developed a new appreciation for life, a stronger intuition, and a desire to change his habits, including a newfound craving for crab, which he previously disliked.
