The Story
Bárbara Matos, a nursing assistant from Germany, experienced a near-death experience (NDE) during childbirth in 2003 due to placenta previa. She lost a lot of blood, had a cardiac arrest, and spent two weeks in a coma. During this time, she felt herself in a dark place that gradually became bright with clouds. She saw three figures dressed in white who did not communicate with her. After this experience, she returned to the hospital. Following her recovery, Bárbara lost her memory of her family and needed time to regain it. After the NDE, she no longer feared death and felt a new sensitivity to others' feelings. She believes life continues after death and encourages others to do good while they can.
