The Story
Cleuza Baptista was a journalist who experienced an NDE during a second surgery for sinusitis in 2012. She lost consciousness after joking with her anesthesiologist. She felt distress and then left her body, seeing a bright stainless steel door. Upon opening the door, she entered a white, harmonious environment with a portal and four people seated. A lady in white invited her to sit down. Cleuza hesitated, fearing she would not return to the operating room. The lady understood her thoughts and showed her the way back. Cleuza returned to her body and felt the same agony she had before. After the NDE, she lost her fear of death and began researching NDEs, realizing they are not delusions.
