The Story
Maryan was an 18-year-old administrative assistant who experienced a near-death experience (NDE) during a hike at a summer camp. She felt severe chest pain and numbness, leading her to believe she was having a heart attack. While unconscious, she floated above her body and saw doctors performing cardiac massage. A being of light told her it was not her time and urged her to change her life. After the experience, Maryan felt a new sense of purpose. She became more appreciative of life, expressed love openly, and lost her fear of death. She also developed a heightened perception of her surroundings and a desire to help others.
