The Story
Carmen was a retired civil servant who experienced a near-death experience (NDE) after being run over by a car. During the NDE, she felt a sudden shift and found herself in a peaceful place with a large building and a circular portal. She saw three people lying on beds and a tall man who appeared to be a doctor. He told her to return to her body, saying she had much to learn and do. After the experience, Carmen felt a heightened sensitivity to the emotions of others and a deeper connection to nature. She also became more aware of global issues and felt a new sense of purpose in her life.
