The Story
Mike McKenzie, a retired construction superintendent, experienced a near-death experience (NDE) during surgery for a ruptured appendix. While on the surgical table, he saw Jesus walk into the room. Jesus held out his hand and said he wanted to answer Mike's prayer. Mike took Jesus' hand and found himself in a beautiful place with vibrant scenery and a city. He felt overwhelmed by the glory of the Lord. Suddenly, he returned to the operating room, where doctors were reviving him. After the NDE, Mike dedicated his life to sharing his experience and the message that Jesus is real. He gained a new sense of purpose and began to prioritize his relationship with God.
