The Story
Maria Angela Meneghesso was 66 years old when she fell into a coma after breaking her arm. During her 17 days in a coma, she experienced an NDE. She felt herself leave her body and saw both living and deceased people around her. She traveled to a distant, desert-like place where she was told she would be judged. She received a bouquet of flowers and was warned about a hole that would prevent her return. Maria met her deceased family members, including her husband, who laughed at her. Her mother told her it was not her time to stay. After the experience, Maria felt a deep change in her life. She gained a new appreciation for life and a stronger belief in God.
