The Story
Yvonne Kason, a Canadian family physician, had a Near-Death Experience (NDE) during a plane crash in 1979. The plane lost both engines and crashed onto a semi-frozen lake. As the plane fell, she felt intense fear but then experienced a calming presence and heard comforting Bible verses. She felt enveloped by love and peace, realizing there was nothing to fear in death. After the crash, she swam in freezing water and had an out-of-body experience, watching her struggle. She eventually reached a fallen tree and was rescued. After the NDE, she felt transformed and dedicated her life to researching spiritually transformative experiences, writing books about her insights.
