The Story
Carlos Vives from Atlanta, Georgia, experienced a near-death event in May 2015 when a riptide pulled him out to sea while swimming at Shell Island, Florida. He fought the current but grew exhausted and heard a voice from heaven tell him three times to ask for help. He waved for assistance, and his friend spotted him from a hill. Rescuers tried to reach him, but a thunderstorm forced them back. Carlos surrendered to death. A huge wave submerged him, and a dolphin lifted him to the surface. He held the dolphin's tail until a fishing boat rescued him. The boatman was from the same town, and the dolphin followed them to shore. That night, Carlos had a vision of Jesus on a cruise ship during a tsunami. Jesus hugged him, showed him heaven with green fields and souls in white robes, conducted a life review, and explained that God's love unites all without religion. He instructed Carlos to return and share the message. After the NDE, Carlos forgave his past hurts, shared his testimony in churches and retreats, wrote books on miracles, and dedicated his life to service and helping others.
