The Story
Maria Luiza Roxo, an educator, experienced a near-death experience (NDE) after being hospitalized for a kidney infection and profound anemia. During her NDE, she felt calm and thought about death when she was given anesthesia. She left her body and visited a familiar place in Japan with pyramids, where she prayed. Then, she went to a beautiful garden filled with children playing. A guide told her she had to return because her son was coming for her. After the experience, she felt a new sense of calm and no longer feared death. She realized life is precious and that she has a purpose to fulfill on Earth.
