The Story
The person was an eight-month-old infant boy. The NDE was caused by a fall from the second story of his home into the basement in March 2002. This led to cardiac arrest twice, brain swelling, skull fractures, and seizures. During the NDE, the boy died and went to heaven. He saw God sitting on a throne like a king. A river flowed from under the throne, filled with stars, the universe, and galaxies that went on forever. God's eyes were bright like fire but contained all the colors of the rainbow. God looked like the sun but did not hurt his eyes. God told him he had to return home to his mother and father. After the NDE, the boy fully recovered with no lasting effects. He shared memories of heaven as a toddler but stopped talking about it in school due to ridicule. His mother left finance to become a nurse. She gained faith in God, prayer, and divine protection.

The account features a severe medical crisis with cardiac arrest in an infant, and the child's later recall of the fall and a head stabilizer device without being informed adds some veridical value. However, absence of out-of-body perceptions, limited specificity and number of verified details, delayed reporting years later, and self-reported verification without external corroboration constrain the evidential strength.
Score reflects verifiable perceptions reported. A low score indicates the experience was primarily spiritual or subjective, not that it didn't occur.
