Man Dies, Sees Storms, Colors, Beings, & Says Don't Freak Out - Powerful Near Death Experience

The Story
Dave was the chief engineer on a research vessel off the California coast in March 1983. A storm forced the ship to stay offshore, and he joined a crew in a Zodiac boat to reach the harbor. The boat hit a breaker zone and capsized, leading him to drown in the cold ocean water. Dave entered absolute blackness that felt peaceful with a greater presence. A pinpoint of light appeared and grew into millions of moving light fragments full of love. Three light beings greeted him as family and welcomed him home. More beings joined, and they entered a sphere where he relived his life from his and others' perspectives, seeing the impacts of his actions without judgment. He glimpsed his future vaguely. The light, perceived as God, told him it was not his time and he must return for a purpose. He observed his body from outside before re-entering it as it surfaced. After the NDE, Dave gained acceptance of himself and tolerance for others' paths. He recognized a higher truth in each person's heart and lives by these lessons without sharing the experience widely.
“so never felt this warmth and This Love that I was feeling coming off of this”
The account features a severe drowning with prolonged unconsciousness and specific out-of-body observations of the body's position, line entanglement, and injuries, which align with post-event physical evidence like dislocations confirmed by companions. However, evidential strength is limited by the absence of explicit verification attempts for the perceptual details, lack of detailed confirmation from witnesses, and no information on timely reporting of the observations.
Score reflects verifiable perceptions reported. A low score indicates the experience was primarily spiritual or subjective, not that it didn't occur.
Was this Evidence Strength score useful?
Was this Experience Depth score useful?
Score reflects transformation as described. Domains scored 0 indicate the topic was not discussed, not that no change occurred.
Was this Life Impact score useful?
