The Story
Jeff was a husband and father driving home after Easter with his wife Tamra, seven-year-old son Spencer, and 14-month-old son Griffin. He dozed off at the wheel going 75 miles per hour, causing the car to swerve, overcorrect, and roll down the road. The crash killed Tamra and Griffin instantly and severely injured Jeff, crushing both legs, breaking his back, damaging his ribs and lungs, and nearly severing his right arm. His left leg was later amputated. During the NDE, Jeff heard Spencer crying and focused on reaching him amid his own pain. Light then surrounded him with comfort and love. He rose above the accident scene, felt no pain, and could breathe easily. He saw Tamra looking beautiful and unharmed. She told him to go back. Later in the hospital, he saw Tamra above his gurney, grateful to the medical team. He also held Griffin, felt his warmth, and chose to return him to the divine. After the NDE, Jeff realized all people are divine, like 'I am that I am.' He wrote a book about his experiences, deepened his spiritual life, and teaches about oneness with God and the universe.
“Sunday we wrapped up to head back home Easter is kind of a special time of year”
The account describes extreme medical trauma during a car crash and an out-of-body experience rising above the accident scene, but lacks any specific, precise, or unpredictable details about physical events, with no verified perceptions of medical procedures or hidden information; spiritual encounters with deceased loved ones receive mutual corroboration from the doctor but do not constitute strong veridical evidence.
Score reflects verifiable perceptions reported. A low score indicates the experience was primarily spiritual or subjective, not that it didn't occur.
Was this Evidence Strength score useful?
Was this Experience Depth score useful?
Score reflects transformation as described. Domains scored 0 indicate the topic was not discussed, not that no change occurred.
Was this Life Impact score useful?
