The Story
Gladys was a nine-year-old girl who experienced a near-death experience (NDE) while drowning in a river. She felt herself struggling in the water and then saw a golden light. She left her body and observed herself from above. Gladys then floated above the river, saw her parents, and witnessed a conversation between them and a family friend. Next, she traveled through space, seeing planets and feeling a sense of connection to the universe. She approached a bright light and a figure waiting for her. Suddenly, she woke up in her body on the beach. After the NDE, Gladys lost her fear of death and gained a new perspective on life, feeling more connected to the universe and understanding the importance of being a better person.
