The Story
Mary, a 19-year-old woman with severe asthma, had her NDE in June 1988 from toxic levels of her asthma medication. This led to vomiting, a seizure, choking on mucus, cardiac arrest, and a 3.5-day coma in the hospital. During the NDE, Mary entered a timeless, peaceful void surrounded by profound love beyond human understanding. She left her body and floated as a light ball of energy in the corner of her room, observing her lifeless form hooked to machines. She saw her supervisor gasp and run out. After the NDE, Mary recovered fully with no heart or brain damage. She studied speech pathology and became a Sign Language Interpreter to help others heal. She later earned a master's in Negotiation, Conflict Resolution, and Peacebuilding. She gained heightened sensitivity to others' emotions, a strong sense of purpose, and practices meditation and Reiki to manage it.
