My first involvement with the advanced aerospace threat identification program began back in 2008.
In 2010, I was asked to take over the program formerly as the director.
A tip continued in earnest after 2012; an additional tranche of funding was provided to our organization.
The program never went away; we just became very clever at managing our resources.
The videos were released in accordance with a strict manner that DoD prescribes.
I suspect we will always get more information as people with additional expertise continue to look at the videos.
