UAP-CTI

Contact Transformation Index

12 life-change domains measuring aftereffects of UAP contact. Score range 0–60. 8 domains shared with NDE-TI for direct cross-domain comparison.

Purpose

The CTI answers: "How did it change you?"— not "is it true?" (ESS) or "what happened?" (CDS). It measures attributed transformation across 12 life domains.

Destruction is transformation. UAP contact frequently produces negative outcomes — PTSD, relationship destruction, career loss. A complete psychological breakdown represents a Profound Transformation (4–5, direction = down). The scale measures change, not improvement.

Per-Domain Scoring (0–5)

0
Not AddressedThis area of transformation is not discussed in the account
1
Briefly NotedA passing mention or slight implication of change
2
Mild ChangeA noticeable shift is described, with limited detail
3
Moderate ChangeA clear, meaningful transformation described with specific examples
4
Significant ChangeA major, life-altering transformation described in detail
5
Profound TransformationA dramatic, fundamental change; central to the account

Score Interpretation (Full Score 0–60)

0No Transformation Discussed
1–12Minimal Transformation
13–24Moderate Transformation
25–36Significant Transformation
37–48Major Transformation
49–60Comprehensive Profound Transformation
Comparable Score (0–50): Uses only the 10 mappable domains for direct comparison with NDE-TI. Same thresholds apply.

Limitations

Aftereffect reporting bias: Videos often focus on the encounter itself. Low/zero scores mean transformation wasn't discussed, not that it didn't occur.
Self-attribution bias: Witnesses may attribute life changes to the UAP experience that would have occurred anyway. The scale measures attributed transformation, not verified causation.
Negativity gap: Positive transformations are more socially rewarded and more likely to be described. Negative outcomes may be underreported.
