Did I choose this life — including the suffering — before I was born?

“are our lives set on a path that we are not necessarily forced to follow, but which is already planned ahead of time, planned before we're even born? >> Well, what I know about that is um I remember say for example my experience there where I was shown I was at the computer terminal and I was choosing my life and I was a in a room full of thousands may have been millions of people. all of these people, what we were doing, where I was at that particular moment, what I was being shown was I was planning my incarnation.”21:55

“And in my near-death experience, they talked about this, that our lives are the way that we are because we planned them, we agreed to them, we choose our parents, we choose our circumstances, we choose where we're going to live. We, we, we choose this.”13:13

So who said these connections, these human cruelties don't have to do with something like what I've lived through? Feeling so much suffering on my skin was a gift to me. “my lifetime. And a lot of people will come to me and say, "Well, you know, I I'm so sorry you're going through this or um I I wish you didn't have to go through this." I chose this. I chose this life deliberately. And in fact, he and I crafted this together, including the near-death experiences, by the way, because I needed to see the other side to realize that it was real. “And he knew, I feel like Jesus, he already knew he was coming into this Earth round to show us, and he was willing to do that.”62:47

“You know, I learned when I was over there that before we come to this life, um, there's actually a decision-making process that we go through with some consultation, um, of spirit guides and things like that, about what family we want to come to and what general lessons we'd like to learn while we're here. And I think we know the whole story before we come. I think we forget it when we get here. I try to remind people of that because before you came, you knew what traumas you were going to face, and you were like, "That's the life I want to live. I want to have those lessons because those are going to contribute to the growth of my spirit and the way it needs to grow."”18:10

“And they showed me that he told me that my my life had been chosen for me with my own oversoul, with my help, and that my life was to be a life of transmutation, and that that is why it was so difficult, and that I had taken on a five, five transmutating life path, which is like five lifetimes worth of suffering that I had chose that because I was a guide soul in this life, and I didn't know any of that meant at the time, but he said, Do you want to go back?”4:55

And I chose all of those experiences. And so it was this process of understanding, oh my goodness, this isn't done to me. I understand that I create this, that we have these potentials. And the hope that when we get to here, that people would learn spiritual principles, that they, those harms would not be caused, that they would learn enough and we wouldn't engage in those ways.”31:54

“And that they chose this life too. We planned these lives, right? And so that we would have had to choose together both outcomes just in case I made a different decision.”7:10
